Coach Jon began his water polo career in high school, playing at Bonita.  He went on to play at Southwestern College, and joined the Shores coaching staff in 2016 with the 14U boys team.  Since then, he moved to the 10U team, where his own kids play (or will play soon!).  He also coaches our Splashball program for younger kids.
In addition to water polo, Jon teaches youth swim lessons.  Outside of the pool, he loves gardening and is a crazy sports fan.  

Coach Jon’s advice for young athletes:
“Set in your mind that you are going to outwork everyone else. Everything else will usually fall into place if you always look like you are trying your best. ”
