Connor Levoff

Coach Connor grew up in Carmel Valley and played water polo for Shores and the Bishop’s School. He began his coaching career in 2006 at the Bishop’s School, coaching their Middle School program, and joined Shores in the summer of 2008 with the 10U team and 16U Girls team.

In the Fall of 2008, Connor moved to Santa Barbara and joined the coaching team at SB 805. Over the next 16 years, he coached almost every Boys and Girls age group in the club, eventually becoming the Head Coach at SB 805. Throughout those years, he coached five Olympians.

In addition to coaching Club, he also coached at Dos Pueblos High School, Bishop Diego High School, and UC Santa Barbara. In 2013, Connor traveled to Israel to coach the USA Maccabiah Games Water Polo Teams with Coach Doug–one of his favorite water polo memories!

In 2023, Connor and his family returned to San Diego and the Shores family. He now lives in La Jolla with his wife, kids, and dogs. In addition to coaching with Shores, Connor referees water polo and teaches Middle School History at La Jolla Country Day School. He enjoys surfing, golfing, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Coach Connor’s advice for young athletes:

“Swim fast, be aggressive, have fun!”
