Coach Jordan grew up in Mira Mesa and began playing water polo at Mesa College.  He started his coaching career in 2013 with the youth teams at the YMCA in Point Loma, where he coached both water polo and swim team.  Soon after, he joined the coaching teams at Point Loma High School and San Diego Shores.  He has coached 16U boys, 18U girls, and currently coaches 16U girls.  In 2020 he took the Head Coach position for the Girls team at Santana High School, where he led the girls to a CIF Championship title 2 title and a CIF Finals for Division 1

Even when he’s not coaching water polo, you can still probably find Jordan on a pool deck somewhere–he is a Pool Coordinator and Lifeguard Instructor at the YMCA, and coaches private swim lessons throughout San Diego County.  Outside of work, he enjoys hanging out with friends, playing all sorts of games, and spending time with his family–his wife, young son, and two cats named Avocato and Luna.
